The Red Cross Movement is open to any person that is interested in delivering humanitarian work in a neutral and impartial way and is willing to protect human dignity and alleviating human suffering wherever it is found.

To volunteer in the different programs of the Belize Red Cross one must first register as a volunteer. An application must be completed, accompanied by a passport sized photograph of the applicant and a police record. The applicant will be invited to a short interview after which he/she will be invited to attend an induction. Probationary period prior to be formally accepted is three (3) months.
