The Belize Red Cross is active in three primary areas

1. Health and community care
2. Disaster preparedness and management
3. Dissemination of the seven fundamental principles and humanitarian values of The IFRC

To achieve the programs in these two areas (hereafter referred to as `services`) there are the additional functions of communication and marketing, accounts, resource mobilization, and volunteer development.

The diagram below shows the services and functions of The Belize Red Cross. All services and functions should be integrated with each supporting the others.
